Designed as a restorative haven in the Himalayan foothills, Aurae Wellness embraces the steep terrain with a series of interlocking volumes that step gracefully down the slope. Pitched roofs and natural stone facades draw inspiration from local vernacular, while extensive glazing and layered balconies capture panoramic views of the surrounding pine forests. A glazed walkway links the various wings, creating a fluid circulation spine that unites guest suites, therapeutic zones and communal amenities. Terraced gardens and outdoor decks spill out from each level, offering spaces for yoga, meditation or simply taking in fresh mountain air. Vertical screens and timber detailing provide solar protection and tactile warmth, ensuring that the architecture feels both contemporary and rooted in place. Throughout the design, natural light, fresh air and biophilic elements are harnessed to support the resort’s holistic wellness ethos, subtly reinforcing a sense of calm and renewal.
